Maybe you know the answer, but just in case, I highly recommend a DVD I just viewed on Steve Goodman. I can only say I'm deeply moved and in shock of this amazing talent.

Thanks for the tip, Jeff! I'll add the Steve Goodman film to my netflix queue. I know he was a great
songwriter, but I don't think I've ever seen him on film.

I heard, today, blasting from the local VFW hall, Willie Nelson's cover of this song. It was good, but I like Arlo Guthrie's take on it much more.
