I really don't know how to define Americana, but I know it when I hear it. And Harry and Nancy are a fine example of great Americana. Their songs are familiar, not specifically, but in how they make me feel. I can relate. Great songs from folks that have something to write about - real life and relationships. Of course Americana is rooted in traditional folk music, and they brought that too. We heard the new and the old, and the true. It was a great evening. Lot's of regulars and a few folks that we haven't seen for a while. Hope more stragglers can make it back soon, they'll be glad they did.

A very engaging and entertaining performance by Harry & Nancy of Folding Mr. Lincoln. They have a genuine passion for music that shines through when they perform. Nancy and Harry's original songs are melodic, thoughtful, intelligent and heartfelt. I really enjoyed hearing their rendition of "Dark Hollow" and Steve Earle's "Galway Girl". I've been listening to their CD "Within My Reach" while driving today - very nice! No need for a proclamation to know that Folding Mr. Lincoln is terrific! Thank you Harry and Nancy!

As a first-timer I was impressed with the event and enjoyed meeting many performers. My reason for attending was to enjoy Harry and Nancy Mestyanek and they were delightful. As a fan, not a performer, I look forward to attending future events at Poway Folk Circle. Jeff is a terrific host and facilitator.

Harry and Nancy are awsome - not only are they great performers but they add so much to the circle with fun, easy to play along with, songs.
