Great group of people and a great venue. Very welcoming group. We played all kinds of styles and there were people of all kinds of skill levels. If you are a beginner like me you will appreciate how the more experienced players put an effort into lifting you up and helping you out. Everybody is interested in what you have to contribute even if it's a little off the normal agenda. The only way to get better is to play more and this is a great place to get motivated to improve in a friendly and positive setting. "I'll be back!"

The music played on a particular night - guided by Jeff - usually depends on the musicians who attend. Last night we played Bluegrass songs and instrumentals, fiddle tunes, and some Swing. We missed our banjo and bass players. Always good music, friends and fun!

Another fun evening of music! Who knew a clarinet would fit in with bluegrass music? Maybe a "clairvoyant"? Nice performances by Rick (Hickory Wind) and Roger (The Weight). Roger, thanks for the Everly Brothers CD! Rick, I'll record and e-mail "Stuff That Works." Thanks everyone! - Mike
