Very good overview about playing rhythm guitar. Went over practical techniques for playing better in groups and increasing satisfaction. Covered the purpose and central role of rhythm from the soloist, dancer, and listener's perspectives. Provided the motivation for life long enjoyment of playing music.

If you missed Richard Chance's workshop, don't miss the next one! I don't play melody much, but I gained a new respect for the value of playing good rhythm guitar - the heartbeat of playing in community with others. Richard's handouts and CD are a great resource for practicing base runs. Seems there is no shortcut to improvement - it takes practice, but playing is fun!
