Learning to play an instrument is a process, not an event. While most workshops last 2 to 4 hours, Dane has afforded us a unique opportunity to “have a friend in the business.” Soon after I signed up, he started sending links to informative websites and other materials and he has sent several emails since the class. I probably expected more “hands on” learning during class, however, I quickly became frustrated when we all tried to bend notes at the same time because I couldn’t hear my squeaking harmonica above all the others. So, it’s probably best to practice alone, one note at a time.
Dane’s love of the harmonica is contagious. He shared his wealth of info and offered to support the class with any future questions via phone or email. In my book, that’s priceless!
