Introduction
I'm a Brit and have just moved to the area after living all over the world. Interested in meeting people who enjoy listening to and playing acoustic music. I play guitar and enjoy a variety of styles including classical, folk, blues and folk blues.
What is first folk song you can remember hearing?
Probably "Big Rock Candy Mountain" when I was about 7 which contributed to an early fascination with the US. We still sang "Oh the birds and the bees in the cigarette trees" for the chorus. See it's now been amended to "peppermint trees"!
