Introduction
My name is Carol Gucwa, and I am the wife of Lance, who plays bass. I love music especially jazz, blues, and bluegrass. I play piano (chords), and I'm wanting to learn the ukulele. I also enjoy dancing, especially folk, square and contra.
What is first folk song you can remember hearing?
When I was a child, my mother used to sing songs to me, and one of my favorites was "I've Been Working on the Railroad, although I'm not sure if that it is the title. I also like Blowing in the Wind
Do you like to play or listen or both?
Right now, mostly listen, but I would love to play, but I would need to learn an instrument, maybe ukulele. Lance has shown me how to play some simple songs on his wastub bass.
