There are so many, My Dad use to sing them, mostly from the 30', Western tunes, country tunes
I play for my own enjoyment. I grew up in the late 50's and early 60's, most of the tunes I love are from that era.
I felt a little bad cause I seemed to take up too much of the time, and I wished the ladies of the group had felt comfortable enough to share more and then we did'nt seem to know their songs. It's always good to meet people who like to pick and grin.

Odie, Really enjoyed your music tonight. You have a wonderful voice. I'd love to hear you sing Wabash Cannonball next time. Great meeting you.
Jeff
Hi Odie,
You said "I felt a little bad cause I seemed to take up too much of the time, and I wished the ladies of the group had felt comfortable enough to share more..." No apology needed. Odie, players like you who have put in the time to know their songs well inspire me! The only way to get better is to play and the way to become more comfortable performing in front of others is to do it. You and other PFC folks are always patient. I'll work on a couple tunes and be prepared next time.
Hi Odie, the cost would only be for your blank CD's you want and use. You can get them pretty cheap at Costco, etc. The recorder a ( Yamaha AW1600) (Take a look on the internet). I have yet to use it, so while my wife and I learn to use it. People in the group would get to make a CD at little or no cost. We would get some mikes and find a place to do the recording ( maybe the Temple Hall etc. ) and see what happens. Just a though, we might look into if people in the group are interested. Scot
