I am a recovering pianist :) and am tired of playing piano solos, so I got a mandolin, a banjo, a dobro, got some calouses on the fingers of my left hand and I am ready for some pickin' and grinnin'!

Nice mare. How many hands is it? It looks to be about 19 or 20? I look forward to seeing a fellow mando player. So far I've only made it to one bluegrass meeting and it was kind of a bust. I like Jeff's new idea of playing in groups for everyone else.
